Specialties & Areas of Focus
Dr. Chang is celebrated for her proficiency in cataract surgery, glaucoma laser treatments, and minimally invasive surgery. Her clinical scope includes premium cataract surgery with advanced lens options such as the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL) and the APTHERA™ IC-8 IOL — a first-of-its-kind small-aperture intraocular lens that provides an extended range of vision from distance to near while maintaining excellent visual quality. She also diagnoses and manages a range of sight-threatening conditions including dry eye, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Her engineering background and meticulous training position her well for the precision these procedures and conditions demand.
I was drawn to ophthalmology because few things compare to the moment a patient sees clearly again — it's where precision meets something deeply meaningful.
